Initial Therapy Consultation & Assessment

Your first paid clinical session is a 60-minute collaborative conversation where I get to know you, your story, and your goals. Informed by years of practice navigating Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New England's intricate networks of support, you won't have to explain your world- I already understand it. We'll explore your history and current situation, working together to create a personalized plan that's right for you. My goal is to ensure you feel understood and confident about your path forward.

This is your dedicated, confidential space for high-level, strategic change. You're used to solving problems for others; now let's apply that focus to yourself. We move beyond simple stress management to develop firm psychological boundaries and core resilience. We'll utilize proven strategies, informed by two decades of clinical expertise, to help you master emotional regulation, conquer burnout, and approach your demanding life with balance and enduring energy.
Insurance & Fees

In-Network Coverage: I am pleased to be an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Rhode Island. If you have a BCBS RI plan, I will handle the billing of covered therapy services directly. Please note that your financial responsibility—including standard copays, coinsurance, or any applicable deductibles—will depend on the specifics of your individual plan and will be discussed prior to your first paid session.

Out-of-Network & Private Pay:

Private Pay / Self-Pay: Clients who prefer not to use insurance, or whose insurance I do not accept, pay the session fee directly at the time of service. This option ensures maximum privacy and allows me to focus entirely on your clinical needs without outside limitations.

Out-of-Network Benefits: If you have a PPO or other insurance plan with out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. I can provide you with a Superbill (a detailed receipt of services) each month, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurer directly to confirm your out-of-network mental health coverage (e.g., deductible, coinsurance rate, and allowed amount)​​
